Leonardo AI – Another Asset For Your Image Creation Toolbox

The field of AI has seen a surge of activity following the success of ChatGPT, with companies such as Leonardo AI introducing new tools and ideas to enhance productivity. One such tool is Bing Image Creator, which can automatically generate images based on a provided context. However, Leonardo AI offers a more advanced platform that uses AI to create stunning game assets.

Leonardo AI provides users with greater control over their generations, leveraging pre-trained AI models to produce unique assets. The company is developing a generative content production platform that can produce thousands of variations and deviations from training data, enabling users to create a universe with infinite possibilities. To access the platform, users must register for an early-bird access program by providing their email address and selecting the “Count me in” button.  Click Here Leonardo.ai.

Once registered, users will receive an email confirming their access to Leonardo AI, or they can join the Discord server and complete the form in the #priority-early-access channel for expedited access. The company has announced exclusive rewards for active community members, including sneak peeks, first dibs on new features, and access to AMAs with the development team. Active contributors will also receive free platform tokens and swag.

While the company has shared samples on its home page, it’s unclear when access to the platform will be available to all. However, interested parties can contact the team via the form on the home page and keep track of their activities on their official Twitter handle. A detailed review of Leonardo AI will be published after gaining access to the platform.

In conclusion, the emergence of tools like Leonardo AI and Bing Image Creator highlight the potential of AI to revolutionize productivity and creative industries. Leonardo AI’s focus on generative content production using pre-trained AI models offers a glimpse into the future of AI-assisted art and asset creation. While access to the platform is currently limited, the rewards for early adopters and active community members make it an enticing prospect for those interested in exploring the possibilities of AI.

How AI Is Being Used To Build SMART Hearing Aids

Google is teaming up with healthcare service delivery and research technology organizations to develop personalized hearing aids. The project, which was announced earlier this year, is aimed at using the power of AI to address individual listening needs. The tech giant is working with Cochlear, Macquarie University Hearing Hub members, the Shepherd Centre, and NextSense to develop hearing aids that are particularly beneficial for those who rely on them in noisy environments such as restaurants, live performances, or public transportation.

The new technology will make it easier for users to follow conversations by identifying and segregating sound sources, such as a person talking. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that over 1.5 billion people live with hearing loss, and that number could increase to over 2.5 billion by 2050. By using AI to develop better hearing aids, Google and its partners are set to make a profound impact on the lives of those who rely on these devices.

Warren Buffett Compares Impact of AI to That of the Atom Bomb

According to the New York Post, Warren Buffett, the CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, has expressed concern about artificial intelligence (AI), comparing it to the creation of the atom bomb. Speaking at the company’s annual shareholder meeting on Saturday, Buffett stated that he becomes worried when something has the potential to do all kinds of things, as once it is created, it cannot be un-invented.

He acknowledged that the invention of the atom bomb was necessary during World War II, but questioned whether it is good for the world that the ability to create such a weapon has been unleashed for the next 200 years.

Although Buffett has been impressed by some of AI’s capabilities, including its ability to check all legal opinions “since the beginning of time,” he believes that artificial intelligence will change everything in the world, except for how men think and behave. His vice chairman, Charlie Munger, added that he is personally skeptical of the hype surrounding AI and that old-fashioned intelligence still works well.

Human intelligence is the result of millions of years of evolution, shaped by a complex interplay of genetics, environment, and culture. Human intelligence encompasses a wide range of cognitive abilities, including perception, memory, attention, language, creativity, and reasoning. Humans are also capable of social and emotional intelligence, which enables them to understand and interact with others, navigate complex social situations, and express empathy and compassion.

Despite the impressive advances in AI, there are still significant differences between the two types of intelligence. AI systems are specialized and focused on specific tasks, while human intelligence is general and adaptable to a wide range of situations. AI lacks the flexibility and creativity of human intelligence and is unable to understand context, emotions, and social cues in the same way as humans do, thereby giving those in Munger’s camp grounds for optimism.

Buffett’s and Munger’s comments follow a letter signed by 1,600 researchers, technology experts, and CEOs, including Elon Musk, warning of the potential dangers of AI and calling for a six-month pause to AI development. The letter stated that powerful AI systems should only be developed once their effects are positive, and their risks are manageable.
